Today we share in bitter disappointment in the outcome of the General Election yesterday. We know we had a plan for a better future for this country which we’re not able to put into action.
In our campaign across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight we’ve had the support of lots of incredible people, whose enthusiasm, dedication and tireless work have been truly inspirational. And we’ve also had wonderful candidates that we couldn’t have asked for more.
As we take a moment to reflect on the results, one thing is certain. Our determination to fight for what we believe in is not diminished. Our fight for a fairer country will continue.
In the local elections we’ve had some great results, congratulations particularly go to those newly elected councillors taking wards that we haven’t held for many years.
